In total, 15 U.N. member nations have pledged support amounting to $213.5 million to the Trust Fund, with $174.1 million in cash already received. The bulk of the money, however, had been pledged to support the Kenya-led Multinational Support mission, with the majority of the $58.5 million disbursed used for personnel entitlements and medical and casualty evacuations.

Après le refus catégorique du Premier ministre de valider le budget de 250 millions de dollars pour l’organisation des élections, le Conseil électoral informe dans un communiqué avoir envoyé cette semaine une autre proposition de budget au gouvernement. Si dans le communiqué le CEP n’a pas évoqué de montant, des sources au sein de l’institution électorale confient au Nouvelliste que le nouveau budget est maintenant d'un peu plus de 220 millions de dollars.
