Haiti: Escalating violence in Bel Air, Port-au-Prince

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is deeply concerned about the recent intensification of clashes between the Haitian National Police and armed groups in the Bel Air neighborhood of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In this area of the capital, where no other medical services are available, MSF teams usually run a clinic one day a week, while volunteer community health workers are present every day to provide basic care and refer patients.

2026 Humanitarian Response Plan Launched in Haiti Seeks to Assist 4.2 Million People

The Humanitarian Coordinator in Haiti, Nicole Kouassi, officially launched the Haiti Humanitarian Response Plan (HNRP). With a budget of US$880 million, the Plan seeks to assist 4.2 million people who rely on life-saving humanitarian assistance.
