Après avoir tenté en vain de changer la date du premier tour des élections fixé au 30 août 2026 par le Conseil électoral provisoire, le Conseil présidentiel de transition a finalement adopté, le lundi 1er décembre, en Conseil des ministres, le décret électoral. Ce qui permettra la publication du document dans le journal officiel du pays et l'entrée en vigueur officielle du calendrier électoral.
